Turn Key Projects
Over the years, HOPIC has built up enormous expertise in the revamping of storage tanks and vessels for both crude oil and gas production / storage. Our expertise ranges from large crude oil tanks up to 1 million barrel capacity to spheres and cryogenic storage tanks. The manufacturing of fixed and floating roofs as well as dome roofs is part of our scope in partnership with Motherwell Bridge of Scotland. Projects are executed on a multidisciplinary basis. HOPIC also delivers the civil engineering, piping, installation of electrical, instrumentation, insulation and coating.
Environmental Services
HOPIC also offers desludging of contaminated crude oil and mixed liquids in storage tanks, remediation and spill clean up of pollution outbreaks on land, swamp and sea. We worked with Shell, Agip and Addax to clean up spill events , to enable a safer environment for communities affected by environmental pollution / vandalism.
Maintenance
HOPIC has the technical capability to set up and carry out project management and execution of entire tank maintenance and repair programs at multiple locations. As a full services company, we are able to refurbish tanks in a cost effective manner.

HOPIC (NIGERIA) LIMITED is one of the foremost tank construction and revamp EPC contractors in the Nigerian oil and gas sector today. Incorporated in 1973 by Founder Mr Silas A. Okereke (Bsc) University of Leeds, we have grown organically over the years from the humble beginnings of cleaning offices, hotels to cleaning up oil spills, refineries, petrochemicals and into a full blown engineering, fabrications, design, procurement and construction contractor.
